Meet Isabelle

It’s only right to start from the beginning. I grew up on a dairy farm in Upstate, NY. My dad being the farmer and mom being an English teacher, I had the joy of learning and growing from each of their unique strengths.

From the very beginning, I’ve loved writing (thanks to you, Mom). When I was little, I created a “store” where I sold my stories to my family members- my apologies to anyone who was guilted into buying three pieces of paper stapled together for $5. As I got older, my love for writing became long, heartfelt birthday cards or journal entries.

I have also always loved animals (thanks, Dad). I may be naive, but I have a special connection with them. I’m still waiting on my singing-to-squirrels-Cinderella-moment, but I’m sure it will come.

Now, I write stories inspired by the close, fluffy friends in my life- especially my personality-packed pup Winnie. I know that other people love animals as much as I do, and I hope those people find my stories.

I also write stories about my faith in Jesus Christ which has, simply put, changed everything.

I’m an educator (childhood education and literacy specialist) which has influenced me to write books that not only teach language development but also valuable life lessons.

Lastly, I’m a mom to the sweetest baby in the entire world. She has inspired me in so many ways and has already heard every draft of every story I’ve written a million times. She likes them, by the way.
